The Globe and Mail reported on Oct 10, 2008 that the 6 Canadian NHL teams cut revenue sharing cheques totaling just over $40 Million for last season alone. Over $50 Million when playoff revenues were included. This of course doesn’t include figures from the US powerhouse teams.
